The Jayanagar-Janakpur-Kurtha section will be brought from India as there is no Nepali staff to operate the train. The railway company had opened an advertisement on March 26 demanding 26 technical staff. However, preparations have been made to bring in employees from India as not a single application has been received from Nepali employees. But all employees will be kept on contract.Nepal and the Indian Railway Board have agreed to bring in staff, said Balram Mishra, director general of the railway department. An online meeting between officials of the two countries has demanded train drivers and technicians. ‘Employees were demanded by advertising in Nepal. But there was no application, 'he said,' so they are trying to bring staff from India. 'According to him, the staff will also come as soon as the train arrives. "The Indian side also wants to run the train as soon as possible. They have said they are ready to help," he said. "We have also talked to the foreign ministry." The board of directors has also given the right to recruit staff. Now additional staff will be recruited through advertisement. 1 Senior Sectional Engineer, 8 Station Masters, 1 Chief Power Controller and 1/1 Inspector of Chief Loco will be brought from India. Similarly, Loco Pilot, Sahalo Pilot, Pive Supervisor, Mechanic and Point Man will also be brought. Preparations have been made to bring both the train sets on September 12. "A ban has been issued again for a week after the Corona outbreak," he said. "I don't know what the situation will be like. If it gets better, the train will arrive on time." "It is expected to be handed over on September 30," Mishra said. Corona could not be brought on time. "After that, the deadline has been extended for two months," he said. "Now it has to be brought within this month. Corona says the only concern is how to manage it. "The lockdown has added to the confusion. I don't know how many days the ban will last," he said. Of this, 20 percent has already been paid. Eighty percent of the payment will be made only after the train is tested. "The train has a one-year warranty, in which we will also take a bank guarantee from the company," Mishra said. "If the train breaks down or there is any damage within a year, the company should repair it." As the railway track will be ready up to 17 km Bijalpura by the time the train set arrives, it is ready to run up to that place. By doing all this, it will be 52 km. At present, both the railway sets are about four hours away from Janakpur, Mishra said. "There was a problem with the staff," he said. "We advertise for two hundred more employees." Advertisements will be opened for the manpower working for ticket checking, track maintenance, ticket sales etc. The cabinet had approved the recruitment of railway employees last January. It was said that the train would be operational from the third week of January. But the train operation was in a dilemma as it could not recruit staff on time. Now there is a delay due to Corona. A station will have at least 10 to 15 employees.
