The probability of the planet coming to Earth is zero: Chinese astronomer.
Information from a Chinese astronomer that a planet (asteroid) in the direction of the earth is likely to hit the Earth is not accurate, according to Zhao Youqin, an astronomer at the Chinese Scientific Discovery Center at the Purple Mountain Observatory.
He said the plane found in the US space study (NASA) in 1998 and given the 52768 enrollment was zero.
He claims that if the planet, with an estimated diameter of 25 km, was hit on Earth, it could cause major damage in the world, but it is zero.
The astronomer at the center said, "Since the discovery of this eclipse, astronauts around the world have been studying the particulars and have come up with accurate data for orbital data."
He said, "The eclipse will come to Earth at a speed of 8.69 km per second on April 29, but it will only reach about 62 million 80 thousand kilometers away from the surface of the earth." This distance is 16.4 times the distance from the earth to the moon. So the basis for the eclipse hitting the earth or falling to the ground seems to be zero. ”
Scientists at the Zhaoqe Observatory in Jiangsu Province, eastern China, say they are studying the planet's activity carefully. Since the eclipse began approaching Earth, they have been observing its activity from April 4 through a telescope, collecting data about it and sending it to the Astronomers' International Studies Center, 'Minor Planet Center' for further study.
Zhao's Space Observatory and Research Center claim to have found significant facts about such asteroid from its activity.
A number of online media outlets in the world have made news about this planet called 52768 hitting the earth.
"We are not aware of the activity of small bodies, we do not have to worry, thank you for showing interest in astronomy and its studies," he told the media. He said that scientists can reduce the effects of planetary or develop measures for immunity.
hi,Thank you for sharing the informative post, keep up the doing great work.
